Fantastic find just a few walkable blocks from the shops on State Street. Unit 4 is on the ground level and is the furthest back from the street. The parking lot is right behind it, though you can have easy access to your car, the ice machine, and dumpster when needing to take out the rubbish. Also a bonus right now to be set back from the street since the city is building across the street starting at 7am M-F. The unit has ear plugs, sleep masks, and slippers available which was a nice added touch. We really did not have any issue with noise. We had our teen with us for 2 of the nights of our week long stay and she liked the sofa bed pull out. Getting it out took a bit of finesse, but it is in great condition and the bedding was nice and easy to assemble. The kitchen was perfect for our needs, nicely appointed with the necessities and extras (foil, ziploc bags, oil, leftover storage containers, dish towels, dish soap, sponge, tea, creamers, etc). The *only* thing that I was hoping to reach for but didn’t have was a bread knife. I used the largest knife out of the knife block and sawed away which turned out fine. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was so helpful. I brought all of my laundry pods, color catchers, and stain remover spray with me so I could get laundry done during the stay. The bathroom was very nice and clean. The sink basin is a very long rectangle which eliminates counter space, though there are two drawers underneath as well as open shelf space on the bottom. They supplied hand lotion, hand soap, shower soap, shampoo and conditioner. The bedroom had floor to ceiling shades as well an additional privacy shade for all of the windows and sliding glass door. The closet had hangers, fold away tables for luggage, Turkish towels, and the bedding for the pull out sofa bed. There was also a small acrylic desk and nightstand, as well as a full length mirror. The bedroom and living room had separate thermostats and a/c units. They were both very effective. Each room also had TVs where you could stream shows. We really were impressed with this unit, the cleanliness and well appointed spaces. Both of us were recovering from injuries/surgeries, so staying here and just having recovery down time was perfect. Location wise, there is not a walkable nearby corner market of any sort, unfortunately so you’ll need to drive to get the food necessities. That was truly the only slightly “inconvenient” thing about it, which is truly not a big deal in the least bit. We enjoyed our stay.

I'm glad to find this place in Santa Barbara downtown area. It's a short walk to bakeries, restaurants and points of interest in downtown Santa Barbara / State Street area. The place feels new, elevated, and was very clean. The kitchenette was well stocked. Many games were also provided. We would definitely come back again. Having said that, we have several suggestions for improvement (we stayed at unit 4): 1. The unit can benefit from a dresser to put our clothes in 2. The cold water was never cold, always lukewarm (wondering why...) 3. The bathroom's (bright) light turns on automatically when we enter the bathroom. It's great, but a nightlight setting would be great when we need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. 4. There are 2 trash cans. It would be great to mark one of them for recycling.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Casa Jardin and both times have been nothing short of amazing! Unique aparthotel concept with complimentary parking and walking distance to downtown. Hard to want anything else, staff was super friendly and accommodating and the added bonus of having a full kitchen was a great plus. 100% would recommend!
